Lintel started with a single kitchen in the 11th arrondissement. The client wanted more light and fewer cupboards. We gave her one long window and a wall of oak, and she introduced us to her neighbours.

Fifteen years later, we are still a small practice. We take on around eight projects a year, so that a partner can stay involved from the first visit to the final snag list.

We work with engineers, makers and builders we have known for a long time. Many of our clients come back for a second project. That is the measure of success we care about most.
